Livestock Retail Policy
Central Penn Cichlid and Supply, LLC is committed to supplying superior aquatic livestock and professional customer service. We stand by the health and quality of our fish and plants, and we guarantee that all ordered livestock arrives at the delivery location alive and in good physical condition, or you will receive a full refund of any payments already made on that specific livestock order. We extend this guarantee for an additional 5 calendar days immediately following delivery of the livestock for both fish and plants. The customer can either chose a replacement fish or plant of equal or lesser value, or a monetary refund. If fish or live plants should die after the 5 day guarantee, Central Penn Cichlid and Supply shall assume no responsibility for reimbursement of any kind. Any dissatisfaction with the quality or health of the purchased livestock will be handled on a per diem basis, with fair compensatory terms, if any, decided upon by Central Penn Cichlid and Supply, LLC.
Due to the aggressive and unpredictable nature of African Cichlids in captivity, it is not uncommon for the customer to experience a loss of life of 1 or more fishes during the first few weeks. As the fish establish their "hierarchy", less dominant fish may become weak and unable to defend themselves adequately, resulting in torn fins, bruising, and loss of life. Central Penn Cichlid and Supply, LLC will recommend the quantity and type of fish that is best suited for the aquarium size chosen, but assumes no responsibility for any loss of life due to animal aggressiveness.
Equipment and Accessories Policy
Central Penn Cichlid and Supply guarantees all aquarium products and accessories it sells above and beyond the manufacturer warranty/guarantee. We will replace any product that becomes defective or damaged due to normal daily use with one of equal or lesser value for one year from the date of purchase.
As an authorized distributor of Tenecor Acrylic Aquariums, Central Penn Cichlid and Supply extends the manufacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty to any customer who purchases a Tenecor product. The details of this guarantee will be divulged on a separate document provided to CPCS by Tenecor.

We offer competitive wholesale discounting, and also adjust prices to reflect both quantity and frequency or order.
Shipping
Custom aquarium displays and accessories are by local delivery or pick-up only. We deliver up 50 miles from our warehouse. We ship livestock only to all states in the Continental United States via Air Freight. Some orders, with shipping destinations in close proximity to our warehouse, can chose to ship with FedEx. We also provide local delivery (a fee is charged for this service), and local pickup by appointment. As can be seen in our Guarantee Policy above, CPCS will guarantee that all purchased livestock arrive at their destination alive and in good physical condition.
